Star Recommends...Basespace!

STAR Radio in Cambridge uses a forward looking and innovative approach when it comes to their radio advertising. They want to offer their advertisers more than one way to get their message across. To this end, they have chosen to augment their clients radio spots with a website that offers a more depth to their adverts by providing a each business with a description, image and contact details.

In addition, STAR radio can provide a 'home' for its on air competitions and offer mini-sites to advertisers that have a long running or specific campaign that requires user feedback and interaction.

Webrex was awarded the contract to build STAR Recommends with Basespace, after a demonstration of the technology, their portfolio and a good brainstorming session. The content managment system behind Basespace gives STAR Recommends the power to add new businesses as they sign up for the service, and easily create any number of mini-sites themselves.
